On the 25th and 26th of January 2023, an auditor from LRQA carried out a planned two-day assessment (focus visit) at the Andrews Fasteners Limited against the requirements of ISO 9001:2015, NHSS 3 and the Construction Product Regulations (BS EN 15048 and BS EN 14399) for CE and UKCA marking.

Following certification renewal audit carried out by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance (LRQA) on 31st January 2018 and 1st February 2018, Andrews Fasteners Limited has been found to comply with the requirements and been recommended for the renewal of its certificates for ISO 9001:2015, National Highway Sector Scheme 3 (NHSS 3) and Construction Product Regulations approvals (EN 15048-1:2007 and EN 14399-1:2015). Our final certificates, once issued will be published on our Certificates and Approvals section.

True 3.2 Test Certificate can be issued only from a newly manufactured product and cannot be offered for products that are already manufactured and available from stock (with 3.1 Test Certificates available). Andrews Fasteners Limited in cooperation with Lloyd’s Register (LRQA) can offer independent verification of samples of a product from a selected batch that will be supplied to the customer for a product covered by Type 3.1 Test Certificate. This will be called “intent-of” Type 3.

Andrews Fasteners Limited has recently gone through a restructuring process through administration. Due to this change, we are now operating through a new company with the new company number of 9350180 and new VAT number GB 201 4811 60. The new company is owned solely by the Managing Director Michael Carey. From a quality point of view, all test certificates will be issued as usual, with the new registration number on them.
